Shannon Raines has spent more than 25 years helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident, long-term financial decisions. Known for her drive to always reach higher for her clients and for herself, she is a respected leader in both the financial industry and the Owensboro community. Shannon excels in multiple roles, serving as a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager, community leader, wife, daughter, and devoted mother of three. 

Shannon joined the Settle Group in 2009, where she continues to serve clients as a Financial Advisor. She holds advanced industry designations including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Chartered Retirement Planning Specialist®, and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®. She earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and management from the University of Kentucky, graduating summa cum laude, and completed her Master of Business Administration with a finance emphasis at Murray State University. She also holds Series 7, 66, 24 and insurance licenses. 

Shannon joined Baird’s leadership team in 2022 and was named Branch Manager of Baird Owensboro in 2026. In this role, she leads a team of 32 associates and oversees strategic initiatives, recruiting, associate development, and branch operations. She is deeply committed to the values that define Baird: honesty, integrity, and a steadfast focus on keeping clients first. 

Shannon specializes in comprehensive financial planning, business transition strategies, and corporate retirement plans. She is also passionate about empowering women to build financial confidence and long-term wealth. Her work at Baird and in the community has earned several honors for her and her team, including:

Shannon’s commitment to Owensboro extends far beyond her professional work. She volunteers her time with numerous nonprofit organizations and lends her financial expertise through board service. Her current and past community involvement includes the Puzzle Pieces (Board Member), Green River Area Community Foundation (Board Member), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Board Member), Owensboro Estate Planning Council (President), Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce, Daviess County Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council, Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission Board of Adjustment, and March of Dimes (Board Member). 

Outside of work, Shannon and her husband, Andy, enjoy an active family life. They can often be found hiking, biking, running, or camping with their three daughters, Mallory, Natalie, and Audrey, along with their dog, Millie.
